Sprouts may be harvested individually, or wait until full maturity and harvest the entire stalk. Sprouts are consistently around 1″ in diameter and uniform in size. Plants produce 30″ stalks that are loaded with “mini cabbages” or sprouts. Jade Cross was a 1959 All-America Selections winner for taste and performance. As a result, it can be planted later in fall than most varieties, especially in cooler climates. Jade Cross Brussels Sprouts is a hybrid, early maturing variety.
